Minor Requirements
Students who wish to minor in Classics may choose a minor area in Greek Civilization, Roman Civilization, classical Greek language, Latin language, or Modern Greek. Courses in Greek and Roman literature and civilization are taught in translation. Twenty-five credit hours are required for a minor in Greek and Latin; twenty hours are required in Modern Greek. It should be noted that courses used for the major may not be used for a minor in Greek and Latin. All students in a Greek and Latin minor must have their programs approved by the Undergraduate Advisor.
Note: Courses used on the major may not be used for the Classical Languages Minor. Transfer credit hours allowed: No more than one half of the credit hours required on the minor.
