Please join us for prospectus talks from two classics graduates who have recently advanced to candidacy. The talks will be as follows:“Skin, Mind, and Genitals: Animalized Women in Classical and Contemporary Literature" (Day)“The Iliad and the Epic of Gilgamesh Revisited: Context of Appropriations of Assyrian Propaganda" (Ziemann)Since these talks will occur within our monthly classics coffee hour, refreshments will be provided.
