Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Christopher Brown STEPPING IT UP

Dr. Christopher Brown was recently mentioned in an UWeekly article on the Second-Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP).

“The cool thing about STEP is you have so many different people with so many different backgrounds and interests and everyone wants to do something different and has such different ideas in our discussions in cohort,” Bungo said.

Bungo’s cohort leader, Christopher Brown, a modern Greek instructor, has brought in an aikido instructor and a world-class water-skier to speak to his cohort, said Bungo. Along the way, they learned how to disarm an attacker and about the mentality of extreme sports and physical training.

“I know he has much more planned for us such as a day where we go and try parkour,” Bungo said. “It really is a great opportunity and is much better than I ever would have expected. There a lot of great people from Ohio State, such as Chris Brown out there that are dedicated to helping make this program successful and that’s what makes it so interesting and great.”

Professor Gregory Jusdanis is also leading a cohort of STEP.
