Latin Minor

The Minor in Latin requires 15 hours at or above the 2000 level, with at least 3 of those credit hours at the 5000 level.


PREREQUISITES:  Latin language sequence - Students may choose between the regular or accelerated:

     Regular Latin sequence: 3 courses (13 credit hours):
          1101.01  Elementary Latin I (5)
          1102.01 Intermediate Latin I (5)
          1103     Intermediate Latin II (3)

     Accelerated Latin Sequence: 2 courses (10 credit hours):
          1101.55  Elementary Latin I: Accelerated (5)
          1102.55  Elementary Latin II: Accelerated (5)

*Students may choose to take the Latin Intensive Workshop, offered every other summer on the odd year which gives equivalent credit for Latin 1101 - 1103 and two 2000-level Latin courses.
