Classics Coffee Hour
I am pleased to announce our first Classics Coffee Hour event of the semester. It will be next Wednesday, March 5th from 1-2 PM in UH 448. Rachel Gastrich, a first year PhD student in the Classics department, will be presenting her paper, "What Really Happened to Afranius Dexter? Pliny's Failure of a Master in Letter 8.14." It is important to remember for this specific event that this paper will be presented at CAMWS this coming month. So, feedback that is pertinent to conferences would be greatly appreciated! And, of course, there will be food: pizza! If you have any questions, please email me, Gillian Marbury (treasurer), and/or Marianna Esposito (vice president). I look forward to seeing many of you there and please spread the word.
