Mark Janse — a Hellenist and linguist par excellence from the University of Ghent, a specialist in Modern Greek dialects, especially the famous Cappadocian dialect, and who will be visiting at Ohio State for a few days — and Professor Brian Joseph (Ohio State Linguistics) will give talks on the early and recent history of Greek in an advanced Modern Greek class (the talks will be in English!).  Brian will present on “3500 years of Greek in 35 minutes” and then Mark will talk on Cappadocian Greek.
