Latin Student Wins Study Abroad Scholarship

Faith Rush, a student in classics graduate student Colleen Kron’s Latin 1103 course, has won a Keith and Linda Monda International Experience Scholarship. The scholarship will allow Faith to participate in Professor Richard Fletcher’s study abroad program in Rome over Spring Break. Faith is a double-major in English and History, and she has earned Dean’s List distinction several times. We are proud of her scholarly achievement and hope that her trip to Rome inspires her to return to our department for more courses in Classics. Faith’s success, and Colleen’s mentorship, speak to the vitality and success of our undergraduate Latin program.
