Kelly Taylor elected as a 2016 Humanities Without Walls Pre-Doctoral Fellow

Kelly Taylor has been selected to be a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the 2016 Humanities Without Walls Consortium this summer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigne. This program is funded by a major grant from the Mellon Foundation, and it brings together scholars from fifteen Midwestern universities with the goal of creating "new avenues for collaborative research, teaching, and the production of scholarship in the humanities, forging and sustaining areas of inquiry that cannot be created or maintained without cross-institutional cooperation." This program will allow Kelly to pursue her goal of combining traditional academic scholarship with humanitarian work and heritage preservation.
