Ari completed her BA in Classics at the University of New Hampshire in 2019. During that time she worked as a data collector on the MANTO project ( https://www.manto-myth.org/ ) and wrote her senior thesis on mythical genealogies in Pausanias' Description of Greece. 

Her research interests are in Modern Greek nationalism, Greek America, Modern and Ancient Greek identity & topography, early modern archival studies, and language pedagogy.

She intends to write her dissertation on 19th century Greek nationalism, and will be attending the Regular Member program at the American School of Classical Studies in Athens during the 2023-2024 academic year.
