"For those interested in CREG, this semester’s New Work Social will be folded into the Chris Parmenter Book Launch on November 14. The ink is barely dry on Professor Parmenter’s Racialized Commodities (OUP, 2024), and this event will offer a great chance for us to hear from the author himself and to learn more about this important volume. Two respondents will help situate Racialized Commodities and tease out its central arguments: OSU’s Harriet Fertik and Dan-el Padilla Peralta (Princeton). There will also be plenty of time for everyone to ask questions while enjoying light refreshments."
